所有格代名詞Prossessive pronoun

1. 所有格代名詞相當於「所有格＋名詞」，可用來代替先前提過的相同名詞。

例：This is not your book. It is mine.（這不是你的書。這是我的。）

2.    人稱代名詞的所有格my＋名詞＝mine/ his＋名詞＝his

3.    專有名詞的所有格代名詞，則與其所有格相同。

(1)   字尾不是 s，所有格與所有格代名詞就在字尾後加上 ’s。John’s＋名詞＝John’s

(2)  字尾是 s，則其所有格與所有格代名詞就在字尾後加上縮寫符號 ’ 即可。

4.    所有格代名詞的用法:   所有格代名詞依上下文可以表示單數或複數。

例：Jay Chou’s songs are difficult, but hers are easy.   (= her songs)

1 主格當句中的主詞，注意：單數排列：231 , 複數排列：123。

  You, he, and I are good friends.    We, you, and they are tall.

2 受格當句中的受詞，放在動詞後或介系詞後。  I like him.   I play with him.

3 所有格後面必加名詞。  My teacher is Ms. Li.

4所有格＋名詞＝所有代名詞。（可代替前面提過的名詞，注意單複數）

  My books are heavy, but yours are light.   Your cup is new, and mine is, too.

  Her hair is shorter than theirs.

***雙重所有格（英文中a, the, this,that...不與所有格my, your...共用。

5 反身代名詞可加強語氣或當受詞。（可代替前面的主詞或受詞）
